Lockdown Night

This collection was recorded during the strange lockdown period in Paris, the second one in France, at night.

During this time, the streets remained nearly empty, and the capital exuded a ghost town atmosphere. Even with the prohibition to go out, few vehicles and people were outside, even between 00:00 and 5:00, the recording hours.

It was an unique experience to walk alone through the streets of Paris with the surround recording system in this eerie atmosphere.

The hum of ventilation and the occasional passage of vehicles disturb the tranquility of the night. The ambiance variations of this ghost town were fascinating to record from different listening points.

These sounds were recorded in Paris but can be used for any request involving urban ambient sound design. This sound pack provides a complete experience of a ghost town with only a few vehicles and human presence.
