Paul Kusnierek is a production sound mixer, graduated from ISTS in 2015. With more than 10 years of experience in location sound recording for audiovisual productions, he works across short fiction films, documentaries, commercials, and corporate productions.

He discovered the importance of sound while working on short films, first through location sound recording on set and later through sound editing and post-production. This experience led him to develop a strong belief: the emotional impact of sound relies above all on capturing the highest-quality audio possible during production. This approach has since become the foundation of his work as a sound recordist and production sound mixer.

Over the years, Paul Kusnierek has developed both technical and creative expertise, allowing him to adapt to a wide variety of productions and filming conditions. His goal remains the same on every project: delivering natural, immersive, and accurate sound recordings that fully support the director’s vision.

Through constant experimentation with professional audio equipment and recording techniques, he has built a versatile sound kit designed for cinema, documentary filmmaking, commercial shoots, and audiovisual productions.

Alongside his production sound work, he also develops immersive sound libraries for sound editors, re-recording mixers, and sound designers. Specializing in surround recording and native Dolby Atmos soundscapes, he creates immersive sound libraries in 5.0 and Atmos formats, offering richer, deeper, and more realistic sound environments for modern audiovisual productions.
